Salary: $11.03 – $13.21 (midpoint) This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and Friday and Saturday 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Perform, coordinate and monitor the daily non-clinical operations of the program. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Advanced education preferred. Experience working with a substance abuse population is strongly preferred. Must have awareness of the general trends in confronting the problems of substance abuse. Salary: $12.95 - $16.92 (midpoint). This position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. with one hour lunch break Coordinate services for consumers to minimize stressors and to facilitate the reduction of psychiatric symptoms. Provides support and education related to physical fitness, nutrition, and wellness. Provides training, monitoring continued reassessment of exercise, nutrition and healthcare commitments. Job No. 431 - Property Manager
Salary: $28,250 – $37,000 (midpoint) This position is full-time, 37.50 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Manage Center property in both the Standard Realty and the Independent Living Program. Provide affordable housing with support and skills training to Center consumers as they proceed in their Recovery. Manage Center property in both the Standard Realty and the Independent Living Program; Maintain rental agreements with clients; Collect rents; Maintain files and paper work for all apartments and in accordance with HUD and other requirements as they apply; Complete monthly census; Complete the HUD HMIS computer monitoring system for Shelter Plus Care; Act as a liaison with landlords, neighbors, and interested others regarding Center property in both the Standard Realty and the Independent Living Program and other housing issues; Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the identified program properties; Monitor furniture issues for both the Standard Realty and the Independent Living Programs; Work with Community Living Assistant in ordering, placement, storage, and recording furniture usage; Keep records of orders for clients; Create and monitor bookkeeping records, monitor utilities, maintain budget, and payment of bills; Serve as a liaison and assist staff in the ongoing efforts to maintain clients in the Standard Realty and the Independent Living Program apartments; Assist the Director of Residential Services in the development and coordination of existing and new opportunities in the Standard Realty and the Independent Living Program Bachelor's degree in Human Services related field. 2 or more years experience in a case management type position working with the psychiatrically disabled. Assess and provide prescribed treatment in a inpatient setting for psychiatrically disabled individuals, working as part of a team. Screen, triage and assess clients admitted to the Crisis Care Unit. Utilize physical assessment skills to determine related nursing interventions. Develop an individualized consumer plan of care. Formulate nursing diagnosis based on initial assessment. Must be RI RN certified. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Experience working with psychiatric and substance abuse disorder patients. Must meet MHRH requirements for Emergency Certification.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with an RI LICSW, LMHC or LMFT credential! The hours are flexible during the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Providence Center is partnering with Health Centers to provide expanded mental health services in addition to medical and dental services. You will work with a team of diverse and dynamic primary care providers to serve the uninsured and underinsured You will identify, triage, and manage patients with mental health and behavioral conditions in this primary care model, working with the health center’s primary care team to treat and manage patients with chronic emotional and/or health problems. You will also educate patients and families in self management skills and management of chronic illness. . Fluency in Spanish speaking, writing and reading preferred. Salary Range: $32,500 - $45,000 To provide outpatient psychotherapy either at The Center or in the community. Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, screening, case management, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program. Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned consumers. Treat consumers with respect. Perform in a calm and professional manner during crisis or emergency situations. Apply knowledge of Psychiatric Diagnosis (DSM IV).Perform and record mental status examination. Assess clinical emergencies, including suicide and danger to others. Collect pertinent data from appropriate collateral sources in accordance with confidentiality guidelines. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with Center policy and legal requirements. Develop and present, verbally and in writing, a clear clinical formulation based on behavioral data and relevant theory while incorporating psychosocial and family issues. Use psychiatric consultation and intervention when clinically appropriate. Use knowledge to decide appropriate levels of care in order to refer to various points in the continuum of care. Master degree in Social Work and relevant clinical experience. LICSW/LMHC with 5 year post licensure and LCDP required. Experience providing substance abuse treatment preferred.
Emergency Services Clinicians (After Hours) 12:00 midnight - 8:00 a.m.
(Hourly rate varies base on experience) Per Diem, including nights to provide outpatient services after hours for Center consumers at local ER Hospitals. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding treatment. RN or Clinical masters degree and experience with crisis intervention required.

Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, screening, case management, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program. Master degree in Social Work and relevant clinical experience. LICSW/LMHC with 3 year post licensure and LCDP required. Experience providing substance abuse treatment preferred.
Fee-for-Service Clinical Therapist - Child and Family
Work with children, adolescents, and their families providing outpatient therapeutic services. Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program. Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field and relevant clinical experience required. LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT required. 3 years post-license experience preferred. Must have experience with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Fee-for-Service Psychologist - Child and Family
Provide psychological evaluation and testing, as well as provide psychotherapy to consumers in our Child and Family Program. Ph.D in Psychology with emphasis on children, Rhode Island licensure, and several years of clinical experience with children and their families required.
