People with mental illness and substance abuse problems are some of our most vulnerable citizens.  We must not forget that, as a society, we have a responsibility to ensure that everyone receives quality services and is treated with dignity and respect."

As President/CEO, Dale has worked to provide quality care for Providence Center clients through best clinical and business practices.  He is committed to establishing partnerships, developing innovation technology and establishing a sense of teamwork and open communication throughout The Providence Center-all to more effectively meet client needs.

        
   

Fay Baker, MSW, LICSW
Director of Project Implementation and Acute Services

“As director of project implementation and acute services, I am responsible for overseeing The Providence Center's acute care services and leading the organization's RESPECT Program, which provides a continuum of care for indigent residents in need of acute psychiatric and addiction treatment services. In addition, I work with leadership across the organization to effectively implement new programs. I am excited to be part of an organization that is both growing and continuing to be an industry leader in establishing innovative and cutting edge programs. Working together with my colleagues, I know that we can better meet the needs of this often underserved population.”

     
   

Nelly Burdette, PsyD
Director of Integrated Care

Nelly combines her experience training primary care physicians and mental health clinicians in integrated care with her experience working in model integration sites to develop innovative approaches to addressing clients' behavioral and physical health needs. “The comprehensive integrated system of care developed through The Providence Center’s partnership with Providence Community Health Centers and Blackstone Valley Community Health Care brings together the most successful elements of national models to create a cohesive, inclusive system designed to provide access, the long-term integration of behavioral health and primary healthcare and preventative services. As the Director of Integrated Care at The Providence Center, I have the exciting responsibility of implementing the first integrated care system of its kind.”

     
Bill Cadieux    Bill Cadieux
Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer, Bill has established The Providence Center as a leader in using technology to improve client care. "It is our responsibility to use technology to the greatest extent possible to make us more efficient and to increase the quality and quantity of care we provide to our clients.  At The Providence Center we take this responsibility very seriously.  Whether it is via our Electronic Medical Record, universal access to clinical data, or advanced communications systems, technology is an enabler for meeting the needs of our clients."
        
Eileen Comparetto    Eileen Comparetto
Administrative Chief of Staff
As Administrative Chief of Staff, Eileen supports the governance function of The Providence Center, which includes assisting the President/CEO, Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team and acting as the liaison to the community. Supporting the organization's leadership is vital to The Providence Center's mission, and from behind the scenes, Eileen is committed to that mission: "It's important for me to make a difference, to help, even in an indirect way, the people we serve who are so vulnerable.  It's very rewarding to work with the rest of The Providence Center's team to reach one goal-excellent client care."

"Through support from individuals, corporations, and foundations, we ensure that The Providence Center will continue to offer the best possible programs and services to our clients." Lisa strives to build relationships with individuals who want to invest in improving the lives of people struggling with mental illness and substance abuse problems. As Chief Development Officer, her work helps to ensure that the 11,000 adults, children and families we serve each year have access to the highest quality of care.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Dianne has developed creative, innovative marketing strategies for The Providence Center: "Throughout my 19 years of service at The Providence Center, my primary goal has been to assist our clients in their recovery efforts and to address the behavioral health needs of the larger Rhode Island community. By working closely with community leaders to solve problems, The Providence Center's reputation as a dedicated, client-centered organization with innovative and effective programs and services has become established throughout the region. I am proud to have the opportunity to be a part of the good work we do at The Providence Center."

In his role as Chief Strategy Officer, Ian is responsible for ensuring that new program ideas become reality and for managing The Providence Center School.  “I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the staff and children at The Providence Center School and to play a role in developing new, innovative programs and external relationships that strengthen our organization and give our clients the opportunity to succeed.”

Sharon Morello    Sharon Morello, RN
Director of Behavioral Health, CharterCARE Connect
As Director of Behavioral Health cnd CharterCARE Connect, Sharon Sharon oversees all services provided under CharterCARE Connect at Fatima Hospital and services in the Emergency Room at Roger Williams Medical Center. She believes that continuing education is essential for staff development and offers consultation and training to help Providence Center staff better address the needs of their clients. "I work with both staff and clients to develop integrative interventions that will provide our clients with the best possible mental health and addictions care." 
       
Deb O'Brien    Deb O'Brien, BS, RN, MPA
Chief Operations Officer
As a nurse with a background in program management and quality improvement, Deb combines her knowledge of medical models with collaborative approaches to mental health and substance abuse treatment. "I am especially proud of our innovative approaches to care, which have earned national recognition in the behavioral health field."  Deb has been part of The Providence Center team for almost 15 years.  As Chief Program Officer, her responsibilities include oversight of all clinical programs; her focus is on exceptional client care.

For 20 years, Denise has dedicated her work to nonprofit healthcare management because she cares about people. At The Providence Center, she works to find financial efficiencies that enable us to provide access to the high-quality care our clients deserve.

As the Director of Community Services, I am responsible for ensuring quality clinical services across children and adult programs.  We have a tremendous group of hard-working, dedicated staff who go above and beyond every day to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care.   They advocate and assist our clients toward recovery so they can lead healthier and more productive lives.  I am proud to be part of an organization that has such high standards and is focused on such an important mission.

With creativity and efficiency, Bob responds to the unexpected occurrences and daily maintenance that come with four treatment sites, a school and 11 residential locations. Not only does Bob ensure the safety of employees and clients at TPC sites, but is also proud to play a role in the services that The Providence Center provides to our clients and the community.

Donna applies nearly 25 years of experience in behavioral healthcare management to create efficient business practices that manage the flow of clients through our system. In a constantly changing economic environment, Donna's experience is essential to meeting the needs of our organization and our clients. "It's my job to find innovative ways to create efficient and effective systems within the organization, which will allow the providers to dedicate their time to giving our clients with the help and support they need. This is my way of contributing to our client's successes."

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Silver provides guidance and direction regarding clinical and legal issues that affect patient care. "I am proud to have served at The Providence Center for over 30 years. Our staff is dedicated and tries to be sensitive to the diverse needs of our patients. We offer a variety of programs and resources that allow us to respond to the needs of our diverse patient population. Working with our patients and staff is very rewarding."
