About Our President/CEO

Dale K. Klatzker, Ph.D., arrived at The Providence Center in July, 2004 to assume the position of president/CEO. Klatzker came to The Center from Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc. in Concord, New Hampshire, where he was president and CEO for eight years. Riverbend is the second largest community mental health center in New Hampshire. Klatzker received a Ph.D. in Social Policy, Planning and Administration from the Heller Graduate School for Advanced Studies in Social Welfare at Brandeis University and a Masters of Social Work from Boston University.

Klatzker served as board chair of the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare, a national trade association representing 400 community behavioral health organizations across the country, from 2003 to 2005.  He was an adjunct assistant professor at the Department of Social Sciences and Education at Colby-Sawyer College and served as vice chair of the Behavioral Health Network of New Hampshire, the state’s largest managed behavior health organization.
