Sharon Morello Named to National Registry of Buprenorphine Trainers

 

November 20, 2009 (PROVIDENCE, RI)—Sharon Morello, RN, BSN, director of Intermediate and Residential Services at The Providence Center, recently completed the National Institute on Drug Abuse/Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (NIDA/SAMHSA’s) Blending Initiative Buprenorphine Training of Trainers. Morello is now listed in the National Registry of Buprenorphine Trainers.

NIDA/SAMHSA’s Blending Initiative was created to translate research into practice and to incorporate bidirectional feedback from multiple stakeholders to make the best drug abuse and addiction treatments available to those who need them.
