Ken Knox and Marianne Holmes present Providence Center with Million Dollar Round Table Foundation Award
June 4, 2012 (PROVIDENCE, RI) –Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation awarded The Providence Center $2,500 in support of the Coping with Crisis Fund, which provides care to uninsured and underinsured clients. Currently, 83% of children and adults served by The Providence Center have an annual family income of less than $10,000 and 26% have no insurance.
Kenneth E. Knox, CLU, ChFC, a 32-year MDRT member and active supporter of The Providence Center secured the grant. Knox represented MDRT at a check presentation to The Providence Center President/CEO Dale K. Klatzker, Ph.D., on June 4, at The Providence Center’s 11th Annual President’s Cup Golf Tournament held at Rhode Island Country Club.
Knox and his wife, Marianne Holmes, were honored by The Providence Center for their philanthropic support of the community at the organization’s annual Circle of Stars event last year. Since 2003, Knox and Holmes have been active in supporting The Providence Center through the annual President’s Cup Golf Tournament. Knox is the regional director for the New England area of Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, North Attleboro, Mass., and Holmes is a financial advisor and owner of Harbour Point Financial Group, Inc., Providence, R.I. They reside in Seekonk, Mass.
