Child and Family Services
Treating children up to 21 years old

The emotional health of young people is a major concern at The Providence Center. That's why we offer a broad range of child counseling programs and services designed specifically to meet the specialized needs of children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional and/or behavior problems.

The goal throughout all of our programs and services is to provide young people and their families with the support they need to function productively in home, school and community settings.

Family involvement is considered an important component of treatment, whenever possible. Parents may participate with their children in treatment, and may take part in parenting groups, which teach parents strategies to improve the parent/child relationship.

The Providence Center is a participant in various major health insurance plans, including state-sponsored plans.
