Seriously Mentally Ill Adults

Our Community Support Services division offers a comprehensive array of treatment and rehabilitation services for seriously mentally ill adults. Services are designed to address a client's clinical and rehabilitative needs in the least restrictive environment possible. All clients have access to emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Comprehensive Services for Seriously Mentally Ill Adults

Multiple programs and services strive to provide seriously mentally ill clients in Rhode Island with whatever supports are necessary to avoid hospitalization, and to live as productively as possible in the community, and among family and friends. In addition to providing traditional clinical services aimed at symptom management, specialized staff members work with seriously mentally ill clients on finding safe housing, developing independent living skills, finding jobs, seeking higher education, resolving crises and participating in community, therapeutic, social and recreational activities.
