Residential Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs
Short-Term Substance Abuse Treatment

The Short-Term Residential Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program stabilizes people whose physical, social, legal, and emotional lives have been severely damaged by their addiction. This program is available for those whose substance abuse treatment needs require greater intensity than can be provided through outpatient services. Residents live in a supportive, substance-free environment where they can master the skills needed to live an independent drug-free life.

Services

Each client receives an assessment, treatment plan, discharge planning, and aftercare planning. Treatment includes individual therapy, support groups, and activity rehabilitation, which includes physical exercise and the development of leisure time skills. Clients will be informed about resources for obtaining employment. All clients are encouraged to continue treatment at an outpatient facility and participate in support groups upon leaving.

Cost

All insurance, including RIte Care, is accepted. For subsidized treatment, clients must meet state-income and residency guidelines.

Admission

Clients may be admitted to the program through The Providence Center's Intake Office at 401-276-4020.
